Cookies and browser storage
Short version: the website's pages set no cookies and load nothing from third parties. That is why you did not see a cookie banner. The account pages (sign-in, the account, the shop) set only the cookies they cannot work without. The full inventory of everything stored in your browser is below. Cloudflare delivers the website's pages for us: the privacy notice says what it processes.
Inventory
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
theme | localStorage | this site | Remembers the colour theme you chose with the sun/moon button. Not set until you press it. | Until you clear site data | Not required — a function you asked for |
consent | localStorage | this site | Remembers your answer to the cookie question, if we ever have to ask one. Currently never set, because there is nothing to ask about. | 6 months | Not required — strictly necessary to honour your choice |
sid | HTTP cookie | the account pages | Keeps you signed in to your account. Set when you sign in, removed when you sign out. | 30 days | Not required — strictly necessary for the account you asked for |
csrf | HTTP cookie | the account pages | A random value that proves a form of the account pages was sent from those pages. Set when an account page is shown. | Until you close the browser | Not required — strictly necessary for security |
oidc | HTTP cookie | the account pages | Holds the check values of a sign-in with Google or Apple while it is in progress. | 10 minutes | Not required — strictly necessary for the sign-in you asked for |
No other cookies. No analytics. No advertising or social-media pixels. Fonts are served from
this domain. The notify form sends your email address to our server only when you press
the button. The names of sid and csrf begin with
__Host-, which ties them to the address of the account pages.
If that ever changes
If we add anything optional — usage statistics, for instance — this page will list it and a small dialog will ask first, with Reject all and Accept all given equal weight, nothing pre-ticked, and nothing loaded until you answer. Pressing Escape counts as no. You could then change your answer here:
Nothing to choose right now — there are no optional cookies on this site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Both signals are honoured in the sense that matters: there is nothing here that tracks you to switch off. Should optional cookies ever be added, a Global Privacy Control signal will be treated as a "reject all" and the dialog will not appear.
